Sunday, May 4, we want to invite as many friends and family members as possible to be with us at PBC. Most folks who come to Christ come as a result of a personal one-on-one contact with a friend or family member! Today makes a great opportunity to give someone you love an extra reason to join you at church. Please pray and ask God to give us souls for His glory!
On Saturday, May 3, the ladies of PBC will enjoy a great time of food, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement. Be sure to check the announcement bulletin during the last two weeks of April for details.
Monday through Wednesday, April 28-30, Pastor Scott Dotson and the good folks at Little Ivy Baptist are hosting a Heritage Revival. On Wednesday night, April 30, the PBC family will join our mid-week service with Brother Dotson and his people, and Pator Raynes will be preaching along with his father, Evangelist Larry Raynes. The evening services begin at 7:00 P.M., and you’ll be sure to enjoy the fellowship, worship, and preaching with this good sister church in western North Carolina.
On Saturday, April 26, we’ll meet at the church and then head out into the surrounding community with our Spring Evangelism Packets to witness for Christ and invite folks to our services. We’ll meet at the church that morning at 10:00 A.M.
On Friday evening, April 25 the children of PBC will get together for a fun evening of activities and great food. Details will be in the bulletin during the month of April.
Saturday morning, March 29, we’ll go out into the greater Hendersonville area with the Good News that Jesus Saves! We’ll meet at the church at 10:00 A.M.
Special Jubilee services at PBC Sunday March 30 – April 2. Sunday services at 10:00, 11:00 and 6:00. Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, March 25, is our “Jubilee Countdown” service at PBC. Evangelist Larry Raynes will preach and special singing will be provided by the Union Bible College choir.
Each year in early spring, we enjoy a great time of preaching and worship that refreshes our spirits and brings glory to God! We are praying that this year will be no exception. The final two weeks of March extending into early April will be a special time for the Progress Baptist Church family.
On Tuesday night, March 25, we’re hosting a “Jubilee Countdown” service. Evangelist Larry Raynes will be our preacher for the evening, and the Union Bible College choir will provide special music. The service begins at 7:00 P.M.
On Saturday evening, March 29, we’ll enjoy an old-fashioned cottage prayer meeting as we seek God’s face for the upcoming jubilee services. We’ll meet at our pastor’s home that evening at 7:00 for singing, preaching, and a good time of prayer. If you live in the western NC or upstate SC area, we’d love to have you join us for this prayer meeting.
Then, on Sunday, March 30, we’ll kick-off Spring Jubilee 2014! We’ll have good preaching and singing all day Sunday at our normal service times, then special services Monday through Wednesday beginning at 7:00 P.M. each evening. Toney Finney, Larry Raynes, Joey Wampler, Bruce Robinson, and other great men of God will be preaching throughout the week.

On Saturday, February 22, we’ll continue our Winter Outreach at PBC. We’ll continue reaching out into the neighborhoods in and around downtown Hendersonville. Please be much in prayer for this effort.
